Shu-bu-kan (SBK) Kendo located in West Sydney of Australia. A dojo to learn, study, practice and adopt the way (life) of Kendo. We are group of practitioners who dedicated to deeper study in the culture of traditional Japanese martial art, Kendo.

Our study focused in the way of kendo is to transform our character to be a better person and personality. The Kendo is for everyone regardless of your age or race.

Open Dojo

SBK Kendo founders is committed to have an open dojo, welcome anyone local or international kendo practitioner to visit SBK dojo and practice together at the dojo to share common interests of study & exploration of Budo (the way of martial art) cultures.

The dojo is also affiliated with the N.S.W. Kendo Association (NSWKA), the Australian Kendo Renmei (AKR) and the International Kendo Federation (FIK). You can find more information about dojos across Australia at AKR website (http://www.kendoaustralia.asn.au)
